Remarks Eric... Congrats on the Hooters... My family couldd't believe that I applied for that card... LOL... I live in a small "Maybury, RFD" community and I can't wait to hand it out for transactions... HeeeHeee. About Travelocity... Go under the tabs credit cards then you can find it by issuer... It's under 'Travelocity' and under the issuer Barclay Bank. The card has been the most generous one w/ me as of yet. Good luck!!

So Far So Good! User Icon on 2007-09-05

Remarks An update on one of my new cards... I have already started earning points for travel with this card. My plan is to pay all of my monthly household bills with it, and then pay it off in full with the money I would have paid the biils with. Therefore, 0% interest actually, and collection of the travel rewards. I needed a travel rewards because my children are grown and live all over the country. I am still in the rebuilding phase of my credit and this card looks like it is going to work. They also gave me one of the most generous credit limits as of yet. Thank you Meya for all the pointers, and FG for this website. (Guess I should also thank Juniper and Barclay Bank! LOL... They trusted me with an account!!)

Re: Deborah User Icon on 2007-09-05

Remarks Right on Deborah! This is exactly what I was asking Brammy. He mentioned that the card is beneficial for those that actually participate according to the card, but the apr's is not good when carrying a balance. I am not a fan of carrying a balance too long and I do not carry a balance on cards that are 15%-up in fiance charges. I am lazy on a few of my department store cards because everytime I pay the balance, I am right back there the same week, like Walmart, The Avenue, and sometimes Jcpenny's. Creditors like Chevron have you too afraid to use their card because you are going to pay a huge amount on a balance like for instance $500. Chevron may ask for $140 per month back for it. It really is a good thing but what if you are hit with an unforseen reason and expect to pay a min balance of at least $30 like all the rest of the cards, well you may have to do a cash advance and pay Chevron back because they do not play... Lol.
