Applied for the Ameriprise World Mastercard on Friday and got an instant approval. After reading reviews on the World Elite Mastercard I called today and within less than a minute changed to this card. While on the line I got my account number and was transferred to technical support where my online account was set up in minutes. I will enjoy the benefits of this card even with the $150 annual fee. Also beginning today, June 1 the World Mastercard annual fee of $75 dollars is waived for the life of the card. I think this offer only applies to applications submitted through either Sept or Oct.
