rebuilding47's review: Callout Comment I applied in February and was approved for $230 credit line. It's very low, I know but my scores are terrible and I didn't think I would be approved with a score of 530, but I was and am now on the road to rebuilding. I don't have any credit cards anymore and haven't for 7+ years but need to rebuild my scores and this was the first place that would take a chance on me.

Remarks Congratulations on your account. I have Fingerhut also...they will increase your limit periodically automatically...I started at $300, and now I'm at $800. After three on time payments the magic will happen. I probably could have a higher limit by now, but I haven't bought anything in a while...they send me DAILY e mails reminding me that I have no balance and credit available to use, once I even got a 3 month no payment offer...there are cards out there to help you re-build. Feel free to read my reviews that I have posted...Capital One has been the best for me so far, but I do have other cards as well, but several I had to pay "processing fees" and a steep year one annual fee, but once I got over that hump, they've been very useful to me. Its a long process to rebuild, and I wish you all the best!

Remarks This is a good start. Getting your foot in the door is part of the rebuilding process. I plan on organizing a section on FG soon to assist in the process of rebuilding and earning a great score. Congrats!

Remarks Don't worry so much about the low credit line. Sure, it can be frustrating, but as noted by boobie1998 above, you are on the right track. Over time, your limit will increase (along with your credit score).
