Congratulations. For some reason a lot of people are getting approved for this card with a $1,000 credit limit too.

If my memory serves me right, last time I applied, 6 months ago, they offered me a conditional approval with a cosigner, the way I see it now, between HSBC selling off their credit card portfolio to Capital One, who knows what that could do to HSBC and Discovers agreement? My guess is maybe Discover is testing the less than stellar credit market, and starting with secondary terms and rates? Never the less, I am happy to finally be in the Discover family, the rep was very courteous and helpful, my rate is 22.99% after the 3.99% promo, so even with a starting limit of $1,000 dollars, there is no doubt if I pay in full each month, like I do with almost all my cards, they will grow with me in no time!

Wow, there seems to be a lot of activity with them. Congrats on your approval, best long term card to have. I may have to get them back, closed with them back in '98 wish I hadn't.

Off the record, has anyone heared from Meya, ColoNative, or Rockin35??? Its almost like everyone who was a long time faithful member has totally vanished! I miss them dearly and miss their imput! Crazy I know, I hope to see them back on soon commenting again.

Awesome and WOW! You did it! Congrats! Now you have another prime card in your wallet. Seems those of us denied in the recent past are getting a chance after all.
