jusdonit's review: Callout Comment Applied today and was denied over the phone. 679 EQ, 704 EX, 733 TU. Had tons of inquiries. 11 EQ, 12 EX and 4 TU. Income $76,800. Don't like that you can be denied for inquiries as I have been approved for cards I did not accept because of the final terms. Like Credit One, BestBuy Rewards MC, which I immediately closed for low limits being offered. Guess, I learned a lesson here. Also, some cards I just had no business applying for early on as they were for peeps with A--1 credit. Well no more for me. Got several cards, but failed at the major ones : (
Great English speaking customer service. That is a plus.

Remarks Unfortunate to say the least. Note however, it is common pratice for lendors to deny applicants when they see too many inquiries (... I am told it makes them nervous that we will over extend oursleves... believe what you will). What equals too many... your guess is as good as mine. It has happened to me. Today, I am in dry dock letting the old inquiries fall of my record. They usually look hard at the full twenty-four months of recent credit history if that helps. For the record, too many inquiries will lower your FICO Scores based on the fact it will affect you "average account age" and I speak with experience.

Remarks Thanks. Will try to be positive, but it just stinks. My scores are up, excellent history and I can't get a piece of GUM for almost 2 years. LOL

Remarks I recently applied for this card too and got denied. My scores were a little higher than yours but I got denied because of inquiries so I called and asked how far back they look as far as inquiries are concerned and she told me that they mostly look at inquiries made within the last 6 months. She also told me that they will not approve you if you opened an account in the last year. Hope this helps.

Remarks I would recommened reading terms before applying for a card. Applying and then not liking the terms is not a good idea. :) I work in mortgage and so many home owners say "I didnt agree to that" Oh yes you did :) In the note that you signed when you got the loan. Most of them say "who reads all that"? Well... if you would have read you would have known what you were getting yourself into.

Remarks I agree with you regarding inquiries. While it is understandable that credit companies do not want people requesting line of credit like crazy, it is frustrating that one does not have access to the terms of a contract they are applying for until they already have the ding in their credit report. I suppose the lesson here is to research as much as you can and guess what your terms will be. Also, only apply for cards that you truly need.

Remarks Thanks to you all for the support.

It is a bit hard to read the limited information some give you online and make a well informed decision. Several will say...this, this, and this "MAY BE" your terms and/or credit limit. And you allow them to pull your credit based upon that. Then when you are presented with the actual terms and/ or fees and limits you are not given an "Are you seriously crazy? I decline your ridiculous offer button! LOL
