| The Review:I have a Bank of America credit card for a year and half and would like to apply for this card because of the low interest rate for cash advance (can be used as overdraft or emergency). After I've submitted the online application, I didn't get an instant approval but deferred message, so I called the FIA this morning and found out that I was approved for $2,500.
Credit Backgroud: No late payment or any adverse account on the credit profile, Transunion score: 760.

Havin' a BofA card on your credit report really helps. However, if both of these are FIA cards, then there's a pretty good chance that they approved you because of the good payment history on your BofA card.

Thanks. I'm quite sure that my Bank of Americard and this Merrill Lynch Card are both managed by FIA Card Services.

I'm 100 percent sure that BofA cards are managed by FIA but I don't know anything about Merill Lynch cards.

I applied for the Merril Lynch card back in April and got approved for 2500. As I called to activate the card, the ML csr told me that "wow" I see you have 2 accounts with us and offered me a balance transfer. She then advised my BofAmerica card was also with FIA just as the Merril Lynch card was as well. Rockin35
