| The Review:I hope my sarcasm wasn't THAT obvious.
I just received an e-mail from Continental Finance congratulating me on my $75 CLI and remindinding me of the $25 fee associated with it.
I opened the card in November 2007 and paid all the fees outright. In December 2007 I received an e-mail telling me that their monthly fee was going to be raised to $12, and CLIs were only going to be $75 every 6 months. I had the option of 'Cancelling my account' if I didn't agree with the terms. Yeah, right...I'm goign to cancel an account I just paid $200 to get. Grrrr....
I kick myself for getting this card atleast once a week. I wish I would have gotten my Hooters, Capital One, and Orchard cards before I even thought of applying for this one.
I encourage everyone who is trying to rebuilt their credit to do their research on boards like this BEFORE applying to cards like Continental. I screwed up my credit in college and thought it was a lot worse then it actually was (it was like a 610 at the time). Stupidly, I applied for Continental and First Premier first, then applied and was approved for Capital One, Hooters, etc.
On a more positive note, I recently had to call them with some questions. I cringed while dialing the numbers, remembering the reviews about their CS on this website. I was pleasantly surprised to speak with an English-speaking woman that was very pleasent, and I didn't even have to stay on hold. Maybe I was just lucky?
Also, the card is what it claims to be. The fees are all communicated up-front, and I haven't had any concerns or issues with billing or payment processing...although they are currently my only card that still holds payment for 7 days. All of my other sub-primes that did that at first are now making it available to me on the next business day.

Your comments were right on the money. As know I have 2, 1st premier cards. One over a year and they won't give me a CLI.
$12 monthly fee is somewhat high. My orchard bank min/paymet is $15. Have you had this card a long time? I thought they give you the $75 increase every 3months!! Well the Cash yes card is worst...they give you a CL of $675, after fees ava/credit is $370.

$375 in fees? That's crazy. I've only had it for 6 months. I've paid on-time and never came close to the limit.
