Re: Report Your "Credit limit Increases" Here!
Hehe. Yeah, I believe EQ will even show the trade line as First USA on some people. And when you go to Chase' website and click on a particular card to apply for the web address changes to First USA for example, https://app.firstusa..........I really did prefer my Chase card when it really was Chase, but it it still a good card. I just feel that BofA gives better customer service (MBNA).

Re: How Many Cards?
Revolving account.. Carry zero balance most of the time. Checked my Equifax report hjm331 and they report a zero balance and a high limit of zero. But they also classify this card as a FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or a No Pre Set Spending Account so people who review this card will realize what type of card it is

Re: How Many Cards?
Smcc, thanks for the quick reply. That's what I was looking for. I don't think that they would report it as a regular credit card because when your report is reviewed manually, it's not going to look good. They would think that you are maxing out your credit card(s) and wouldn't want to extend you credit.

Re: How Many Cards?
I didn't know HSBC offered cards without a pre-set limit.

Re: How Many Cards?
I talked to boa yesterday and they said they DO report your credit limit on the signature card? I have not checked my report since opening this card so anyone have any insight on this?

Re: How Many Cards?
From what I have heard with the exception of smcc, cards without pre-set limits don't report a limit to your credit reports.

Re: Report Your "Credit limit Increases" Here!
One day charonh I plan on closing my Visa Signature Card and move the $10K back to my BankAmericard once I get an AMEX card. Hopefully there will be no fallout since I had to take limit from card (a) in order to have the Visa Signature

Re: Report Your "Credit limit Increases" Here!
Smcc, instead of closing the account, why don't you have them convert it to an AMEX and you still get to keep the history on the report. Also, you save a hard pull and points that would drop your score when your average age of accounts decreases when the new account shows up on your report.
