Other than that, they are stingy with cli's and if I am not mistaken the limit goes up to $1500 max. Its a cool re-builder, but don't expect much from cli's (for those who want to apply).
That fee isn't too bad. Do you think you might close that card within the year?

Meya, have you tried calling them and asking if they reduce or waive the AF?

Not yet. Only because I do not plan to keep the card.

If they reduce or waive the AF, I would keep it and sockdrawer it for the history.

Instead of sock drawer-ing, I just turn junk cards into iTunes cards

What do you mean? Do you mean instead of paying annual fees you'd rather buy iTunes?

I don't Barclay's even offers the iTunes Visa anymore do they?

I just simply mean that I will only use junk cards to puchase iTunes music so as to keep them active.

Hello all, I just got a cli on my Orchard bank of $100 from $800 to $900. I didn't even have to pay for it can you believe it! I called on my partners HSBC and his Orchard and it was a no go said he was over his limit in Nov and Dec anybody got an idea of how to get him an increase. Both of his accounts opened in July 2007?

He probably has to wait at least 6 months from the date that he went overlimit. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a rule like that. Capital One won't give you a Credit Steps increase if you go over your limit within the first 90 days of opening your account.
