I filled out the form online. It's a soft. Last time I called for a CLI, the rep filled out the form for me so it doesn't really make a difference.

I asked for a $1k CLI on my BOA Visa last night and woke up to a $1.5k CLI. That brings my limit to $3,500 and it had me jumping up and down.

By the way, I filled out the form online.

Congrats, I wonder why they gave you a CLI on the Visa but not the Amex?

I noticed a difference when I submitted both requests. When I submitted the request for the CLI on the AMEX, I read a message which said, "You will receive a written decision in 5-7 business days."

However, when I submitted the CLI request for the Visa, I got a message saying, "Thanks for letting us serve you! If you are approved for a request, it will be available within 24 hours when your request is reviewed in the next business day. If your request is declined, you will receive a letter within 5-7 business days."

I wonder if the computer automatically denies your request if you don't wait 6 months since your last CLI.

Makes sense. I don't think I have ever requested a CLI from BofA-they keep doing them on their own.

Congrats hjm331, one day at a time, one on time payment at a time, one CLI at a time

Thanks smcc. Nice to see BOA trusting me with their money in this credit climate. If they gave me a $1.5k CLI now I wonder what type of CLI they will give me when the economy gets better.

Ok, so I know that First Premier Bank is not the best company to deal with but, Ive been with them for quite some time and never got a CLI. Well, yesterday I gave in to enrolling in online service. OF course thy charged me $3.95 (one-time fee). Well I saw the "Request Credit Limit Increase" button and had to press it. Well I was approved for $100 with a $25 fee (sucks). Then today, I checked it online and they actually gave me a $200 CLI.
