I hope so because right now all I can afford there is small appliances or towels. ($150 cl) I will try it for a few months and if I don't get an increase, I will sock drawer it. I use the walmart card more. ($300 cl). Besides walmart is 10 miles away, Penneys is about 40 miles away.

Rob, they have fantastic sales. I've walked out of Penneys with a huge bag for under $100. Last time I was there I was a bit disappointed that the clerk didn't ask if I wanted to open an account. They were'nt busy so I was going to try to get up the nerve to apply even if I were to be declined on the spot (no one around to see me shot down LOL) She didn't ask and I didn't pursue the cc.

You should have went ahead and applied. Doesn't bother me at all if someone sees me declined for a credit card. I just joke about it and tell them I will probably get denied but try it anyway. Remember, the worst thing they can do is tell you no. You shop there a lot so go for it. Its an inconvenience for me to shop there and I hate online shopping because when I pay for something, I want it right then, not 3 or 4 weeks later. Thanks for the encouragement.

MsKiwi, the JcPenney's card is a great card to have on your credit report because they are good with CLI's. You being a loyal shopper to them just makes it even better because you can continue shopping there but building your credit report at the same time. It's a win-win situation.

I am going to try to get BOA to match my highest limit which is the Cap 1 card I mentioned above. Hopefully, they will agree with me.

You guys are so crazy! One day I will. Oh, btw, my jewelry have to be coordinated, white gold/silver when I'm wearing silver or black, yellow gold , and my beautiful pearls earrings, ring, necklace(choker, opera, double strand etc depending on how I'm feeling) or custom matching jewelry.

Like I said, the accessories make the outfit and not necessarily the clothes. One of my pet peeves is scuffed up shoes...but i digress.
