You were too busy out gettng new credit, now it is time to refocus on the cli's so you can bring this thread even longer. I should expect to see some cli's from your new cards in about 5 months right?

I was in the process of making a payment to JC Penneys today and it seemed like the Increase Credit Limit Request button was calling me
I tried and tried so very hard to ignore it but then it happened
I HIT it and to my surprise, Penneys told me that they have been waiting for me to hit that DANG button because they wanted to raise my limit from $650 to $1500
! WOW! I wasn't expecting that - I thought that I would get the usual we do not give auto increases blah blah blah... thanks again FG members ur the best!

hi everyone just called Macy's and got a 100.00 credit limit increase!!!!!!!
i know that isn't a lot but i don't use the card that much because the nearest store is 120 miles from where i live and if i do use it i have to use the internet. The representative (who was soooooooo nice and friendly her name was Jenny) told me to use it more and in 3 months they will raise it again.

Way to go sis. Well guess what? I was wondering why the avenue did not put my $400 cli from the 21st of last month on my cr, so I called them and they said that they took it away because my account was not eligible for an increase since i just received one Jan 12th of this year. I was sad but not too sad because she told me that is on hold to be put back on there May 12th at midnight.
So this is a story of a cli decrease, but will be increased in almost 2 weeks. I accept that!

Hi everyone,
I'm desperately looking for a post I saw a few months ago with phone numbers for "back door credit line increase phone numbers". Does anyone remember seeing it or is the nice guy that listed them out there?? I'm doing really well with rebuiding my credit and just paid a chunk of money on all my cards so I want to see if I can now get increases. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
