Orchard bank increased limit from 300-500 after 1 month and a threat to cancel. $72 annual fee is too much but 8.9% APR is very nice. still not sure what to do any advise is appreciated.

Thats where they get you. 8.9% against $72 per year with a $500 limit. They know they can make you feel good with a 8.9% but they know that $500 is not going to get them as much as $72 annual. They look at our spending habbits to see where will they profit more.

Orchard Bank is part of HSBC. Does anyone Know what HSBC stands for? I called and found out. It stands for Hong Kong Shanghai Bank Corp. Their Customer Service stinks. Stay away from HSBC at all cost. :

Way to go, I would drop the first premeire though! I dont see where they fit into play with the others. If it is your longest history, they have not done much for you so chop their heads completly off.
Nice cards, you go!

Why do you have FPB cards? lol

Hi Meya. I thought that you should keep your longest history Credit Cards open. that is why I have kept the 2 FPB accounts open. So you think I should close them? Won't it hurt my credit score if I do so?

I was just telling someone else that in the cc reviews about this. If your scores are very high, I say drop them, it is not going to hurt you at all if your scores are already high. This card is just holding you down and credit reports does not look good when you have nice limits with low limit cards hanging up in them. It makes other creditors hold back on your cli's because they probalby figure something is wrong with you and the lower limit creditor in which they are not reporting. If you took a 20 pt drop, you can get it right back in no time.
Scores does not matter to me at a certain point in time. If I know I am about to nearly max out a card, who cares what my score looks like? I am not about to apply for credit anyway and I am opted out with all three cb's. As long as I know I am about to pay it off in a matter of months, and my scores will replace themselves, who gives a hoot!

Everyone, go and request a cli from Walmart right now. I was just talking on the review board and I notice that people were getting a nice cl, so I went to the official site to request a cli and I got a $100 cli...wahooooo! It may seem small but anything will do for a cli (unless they charge a fee).

Hey Bramford, I am awaiting the arrival of my 99/500 card. It sure does take awhile. How did you treat your BofA card?

It's established, Bramford's ruthless. He'll either get the card or the cli.
Nice line up, Bram, but I agree with Meya and drop the subprime.
