I was wondering if anybody knows which banks pull from Equifax. My scores are anywhere from 550 to 650, Equifax being the highest. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

JCPenny, GEMB/Lowes, Nordstrom, Dillards (I believe any card that is associated with GEMB will use Exquifax. Hope this helps.

Paula is right about GEMB, I just pulled my report from My Creditkeeper and this is what I have:
1. HSBC (they use exp too)
2. Dillards
3. Target (they use exp too)
4. Capital One (they use all three)
5. Walmart
6. JcPenny's
7. At&t
8. US Bank
9. Protect America alarm company
This is all that I have from my eq report. Can someone else add some inquiries please. Hope this helps.

A good website that I found on the internet is [Edited by FG] It has something called credit pulls, which allows you to either enter the creditors name or the CRA's name. This will allow you to see what creditors went through what CRA or what CRA was used for what card. You may have to register to become a user on the site, but credit pulls is located under forums on the home page. Just click on forums at the top. I found it useful, some people actually post the scores they had at the time of approval or denial, their cl, and also a glimpse of their credit history.

There are some that will use this credit bureau, but most use experian. But I agree that the department stores will use this one you mention.

Just wanted to let you know that I got an electronic denial letter which indicated that Dillards (GE Money) obtained their report from TU in Chester, PA not Equifax.

All these question can be solved right here http://www.financeglobe.com/Finance/...d-status.shtml Just use the tools on the top, where you can have an option (in the drop boxes) to select which cb a creditor pulled for certain credit cards.

Re: Lines Of Credit Info
I know my credit union has only pulled Equifax in the past, but those sort of things change all the time. It all depends on the creditors contracts they have running (in my opinion). If your Equifax report is good and others are not; perhaps that is a strong enough sign for you to NOT apply for any of those things. You should focus on improving your other reports first.Last edited by Joeyman; October 19th, 2010 at 01:13 AM.
