Good read, thanks SMCC! I can't stand the "hit you while you're down" complex. Chances are, if you need a job, your finances aren't in order. The problem is that the organizations doing the hiring can get away with this, even if they look evil in doing so, but are quiet about it - and the media is out of the equation.

That's just it FG, how many of the current unemployed had good/excellent credit, lost their job, kept up with their bills through savings, etc., until exhausted and then got behind because they had no other options ?
Hopefully FG, employers doing background checks will at least give the prospective candidate the chance to explain their current financial situation before making a decision....
