I've been lurking on this forum and other online credit forums for a while now. I had applied for Barclays and got a message they could not approve. I called today and after speaking with the rep I was approved for $10K. Income is a little over $120K but this is my first bank cc since BK in 2007. Too happy!

Nice! Congrats on the CL. Enjoy your new card. Unreal CL when you figure your first card since the BK. You proved it pays to recon declines!

Oh I meant to say I have other credit cards with $10K and 11.5K via my credit union, this was just my first non credit union credit card since my bk7. Too happy with the 0% bt until Oct 2013, no issues and great customer service!!

Same thing happen to me. got declined called the next and got approved for $7500. 0 interest for 15 month. no bk on files since 01 never late.
