I was originally denied, then I called for a reconsideration answered a few questions and spoke my case and was asked how much I needed and given more. Approved for $1000k! My FICO for TU which they pulled was 659.

Barclays is very good about recon. The are probably the best for this reason. However, they don't like to see a lot of new credit all at one time thru applying.

Otherwise, you open yourself up to CLD, or closure.
