Hey guys! It's been a long time since I've been on this site (wow, like 2 years). I haven't really been paying attention to my credit, but I've been paying all of my bills on time and building history.

Anyway, I opened up this account a little over a year ago when my FICO was around 625 and I got a relatively small limit of $500. I just logged into my account today, and saw an increase to $200, which made me happy :).

I had one instance that required calling customer service, and I must say, the woman was friendly and extremely helpful.

Overall, this card has never treated me badly, and I'd recommend it

Congrats, I too have this card, Love it, hate Barclays though lol. Approved after I verified app, approved for 17k... Great rewards! APR is high, so don't carry a balance or you will be killed with interest. Otherwise Great card

I had this card for about 3 years. Sometimes I was late but I always made my payments. Most of the time when I made my payments, I paid my balance off. I had been saving money for a year for Christmas shopping for my 5 children. I am a single mother and I have one job that I have had for 2 years. I went online to make my payment on a saturday and called to find out when it would go through and they said on monday night. On Tuesday I called them because I checked my account again and it said I had a balance of $4 and I had 0$ available credit and they said they were waiting for my payment to finish processing which might take ten days. The man said he didn't know why so I talked to his manager and asked for an increase until my payment processed so I could buy presents. The woman found on my credit report that I owed a different credit card company money and said she was closing my account because I owed that other company. Now my money is gone and my children have no Christmas presents. I don't know what to do but this will not be the end of this!

What to say... Many who have reported on Barclay Bank Cards do not like or trust the bank. I had a card by them and they shafted me. What happened to you is very unfortunate. It sounds like them. As a bank they represent one step up from the bottom feeders but after this maybe not!
