I received a preapproval in the mail. It has an introductory rate of 1.9 % for 12 months. After the introductory rate it goes to 16.9 %. My scores were EX 732, EQ 735, TU 755. I applied on 2/12/10 online I received the 7 -10 day message. I received an email on 2/16/10 that I was approved. I didn't know CL until I got the card today. I also received another preapproval in the mail from them again today. I've received offers for this card before in the past. I finally decided to give US Bank a shot. I'm very pleased to say the CL is $5500. The rewards 3 points for every dollar spent. Also every dollar spent each month enters you in a chance to win a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Hi... Congratulations on the new card. I applied for this card late last year and was originally denied by US Bank. I called their CSR number listed on the denial letter and plead my case that I was a FICO high achiever and I wanted to know the reasons I was denied. The CSR told me I had 'too many recent inquiries'... I explained that I purchased a car so it would only be reasonable that I would have inquiries. She agreed and said she'd bump it up to the their underwriting department for a decision. I received the new card with a $4k CL and APR of 14.99% to start off with. One thing I do not like about the card is that they've limited the cash advance to only $500. I'm one of those that likes to borrow at the beginning of the month for all of my bills and pay off the balance at the end of the month. It takes discipline but it works for me.

Congrats! US Bank has been actively lending in this environment when other banks have tightened their belts. Kind of weird thinking about that because US Bank has always been conservative.
