I applied for this card two weeks ago and was given an instant approval of $3k. The last few years I've read great things about discover and how great their customer service was and now I know why. When I activated the card it was very pleasant and they do not try to push services you do not want like other cc companies do.

they pulled Equifax and my score was 722 with a clean report with low utilization. While activating my card the csr sent me a email with a code quick starting my online registration which made setting my account up tremendously easy.

the web design is awesome and you can change your card look with tons of options and the reward structure of discover shop has many sores I shop at to take advantage of the cashback benefit this card offers.

Congratulations on your Discover. I have always liked mine though I use my Citibank because it has a better cash back program. Don't forget to sign up for the quarterly 5% bonus cashback.

Glad your experience has been good! Discover, in my opinion, is tops in service. Even better experiences than Chase customer service. Their website is always interesting, and easy to navigate.

After you use the card for a few months or more, I like to use the spend analyzer tab so it categorizes your spending by dollar amount and merchant type.

As Colo said, don't forget to sign up for the quarterly bonus.

I've had my More card since 10/08' and have already received 2 increases, the first at 7th month was 800$, the second this month for 960$. Seems they are very conservative, and increase in increments of 20%.

Also, they have the best card designs around. Check em out. You can keep the More platinum, and choose another card design to go along with it if you want to switch up.

Discover is definitely a good company to do business with. Had mine since 07/08 they've been great to me. You will definitely like having this card in your wallet. They also have a mobile app that's also very good.
